Neue Räumlichkeiten von SÜDFILM eröffnet - Südfilm GmbH

Die Film- und Fernsehproduktionsfirma SÜDFILM expandiert und hat am Freitag (28. Juni) ihre neuen Räumlichkeiten in March-Hugstetten eröffnet. Mehr als 100 Gäste aus Politik, Wirtschaft und Medien waren bei der von Christopher Wehrmann (ZDF heute) moderierten Einweihungsveranstaltung dabei.

SÜDFILM-Geschäftsführer Bülent Gençdemir gab einen Überblick über die vielfältigen Tätigkeiten der Produktionsfirma, die von Imagefilmen für Firmen und Gemeinden über journalistische Beiträge für mehrere Fernsehsender bis hin zu Kinofilmen reichen. „Heute ist auch der Tag, Dank sowohl an die Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter als auch an unsere Geschäftspartner zu sagen“, so Gençdemir.

Herzstück der neuen, 260 Quadratmeter großen Räume im Industriegebiet Hugstetten ist ein 90 Quadratmeter großes virtuelles Studio, in dem unter anderem künftig Live-Übertragungen für zahlreiche Fernsehsender vollzogen werden. Das Film- und Fernsehstudio ist eines der größten seiner Art im Umkreis von 100 Kilometern.

Helmut Mursa, Bürgermeister von March, freute sich, dass SÜDFILM jetzt seinen Sitz in seiner Gemeinde hat. „Ich finde diesen Arbeitsbereich sehr spannend – man bekommt erst jetzt ein Gefühl dafür, wieviel Arbeit für einen Filmbeitrag notwendig ist.“

Er überreichte Bülent Gençdemir hiesigen Jubiläums-Wein. Doch nicht nur das: Auch die Gemeinde March zählt inzwischen zu den Kunden von SÜDFILM.

Alexander Rieckhoff, Chef vom Dienst der aktuellen Tagesmagazine beim ZDF, lobte die Zusammenarbeit mit SÜDFILM: „Die Firma zeichnet sich durch Qualität und journalistische Zuverlässigkeit aus – das ist auch der Grund, weshalb wir die Zusammenarbeit immer weiter intensivieren.“ SÜDFILM sei beim ZDF unter anderem im Bereich „True Crime“, in dem ungewöhnliche Kriminalfälle mit Hilfe von Kommissaren und Zeitzeugen rekonstruiert werden, engagiert. Inzwischen produziere das Unternehmen auch komplette Sendeformate für das ZDF.

Doch auch für andere TV-Sender ist SÜDFILM tätig – darunter auch für regionale Privatsender wie Baden TV. Dessen Geschäftsführer Bernd Gnann, der auch Schauspieler ist, verdeutlichte in einer szenischen Rede, dass es im Filmgeschäft darum geht, an sich selbst zu glauben.

Dass SÜDFILM Wert auf die Ausbildung setzt, bewiesen die beiden Praktikantinnen Johanna Elsen und Sarah Lubina, die einen von ihnen selbst gedrehten Film vorführten.

Bei Häppchen und Getränken machten die Gäste nach dem offiziellen Teil der Einweihung noch lange von der Gelegenheit Gebrauch, die neuen Räumlichkeiten genauer unter die Lupe zu nehmen. Dabei wurde auch deutlich, dass SÜDFILM weitere Großprojekte wie einen weiteren Kinofilm plant.
